Wind

Wind

A Poem by sasha

The wind surrounds her in a warm embrace while
He stares at her and tells her that she has a great body,
And if the truth be told, he always liked her.
He holds her, like he has the right to, and she likes that.
He embraces her, and she becomes part of his identity.
They both have had so many names…gorgeous names
That only the birds & the flowers remember & pronounce.
Any way the wind blows, it becomes easier when it gets up.
When it comes down the valley, she usually turns to meet it
And fills herself with air like a beast at water.
The wind... alone... of God.
The wind kisses the trees, makes the tall grass bend into leaning,
Stirs pines in the mountains like a sculptor that never knows when to stop.
When the evening is spread out & the whole countryside becomes mute and somber,
The wind in the poplars by the river plays a melody reminds
A home where she heard the sea, like inside a seashell -
“You're amazed that I welcome you...... kiss you and weep......
you'll be more amazed to know we're imaginary characters, darlin’!”
“Then you are the wind?
Maybe..”
And it speaks of demons & blows west.
Ssh, no speaking on the stairs darlin’...
What goes around, comes around at night.
The wind... alone... of God..
The warmth of August starshine... the breeze blowing in
Like a song, filling up her body.
X. O. X. O., a charmer.
