Running Loops

Running Loops

A Poem by Sarura

If only sentiment could flow through veins,
If only pain could say its own name,
If only you and I thought of life as a game…

Our lives would beat at a stranger pace,
Our minds would question what names mean in the first place
We’d harbor hatred inside
and until close to the end
we wouldn’t realize the game
is merely
a race

to waste.

The end.
