From the moment I wake up to the moment I sleep
All my thoughts are of you indeed
But It gets me wondering whether u think of me or am I just another thought or dream
My words know no end for you
They just flow like my tears when I think of you
I saw u looking at her
The way i wished u looked at me
And all i could do was watch my world burn to ashes
How lucky does someone have to be In order to be loved back by the person u would start a war for ?
How lucky does someone have to be in order to not spend their lives wondering what could have been?
Maybe i needed more courage
Or maybe i needed more love
To lure him in to show him how good it could have been
But sometimes for some people love is just 5 minutes of pleasure for life time of pain
And that someone is me.
This poem captures the ache of unrequited love with raw honesty and vulnerability. The speaker’s feelings flow freely, from hopeful yearning to the devastation of watching the one they love look at someone else. Lines like *“How lucky does someone have to be / In order to be loved back by the person you would start a war for?”* are especially poignant, highlighting both the depth of feeling and the painful imbalance in affection.
The style and voice evoke the work of Lang Leav and R.H. Sin, who often explore themes of unreciprocated love, longing, and heartache with a similar blend of simplicity and emotional clarity. The poem’s unguarded expression of sorrow and self-reflection resonates deeply, making it relatable and heartfelt. It leaves the reader with a sense of melancholy, a reflection on love’s bittersweet nature.

It's ...
Someone is me- who loves truly back and can declare war for you and not worrying about future...
There might be lot of barriers in love from religion to financial to status to many things.... to acquire love one must face the reality and stand against all odds...
But dear if everyone goes back to our love like that means, then it will end like the movie 96 and singing "kadhalae kadhalae" 😅
I just hope you to accept the pain and move on... then to fill hope in /with hollow love...
This piece seems emotional, sad and with a sense of longing for love. For a lovely which is valued and appreciated, not taken for granted by the other partner. Despite the grammatical errors, you make some good points in this write ✍️; and your meanings are all clear. Indeed, it may be so; that you have been made emotionally distraught by an erratic or unappreciative partner in real life.? Towards the end, you mention "love is just five minutes of pleasure"; for some people. Quite true, with it being a matter of f**k and chuck; far too often. Thanks, for sharing this. I accept "read requests" too, on this website.
This is the part of love's heart that kills me, when for one it is so really and the other nothing. A heart that beats for one who doesn't return the feeling, is a heart acquainted with deep pain, What a good poem, thank you for making me think.
i find your feeling of unrequited love commendable because of it emotions
that resonates well, the last line had a twist i never expected, it seems like lust
or maybe resignment
