Roses in His Hands - 2017A Poem by SariahMI was reading a book, and one line popped out from the page and inspired me to write this poem "And like roses in his hand, death bloomed" This was just a quick draft...
With those words,
she shattered him into the darkness. She clipped his wing and let him spill out into the void. But like roses in his hands, he grew back together again. He lifted his head, blind eyes searching for his armor. And he found it scattered across time. He took it and put it back together again. No protection did it offer for it was made of mere hope but to the weak it gave light. And the roses in his hands can bloom.
