Eyes down the Well - 2017

This is whatever you want it to be.

Eyes

look from all sides

stare me down,

don't let me up.

It is night

down in this well.

This well,

Steep sides.

Smooth.

Aged.

Bloody knuckles,

Bloody heart.

I call up,

they spit down,

down down down.

Down to me.

Nothing can go lower.

I fell here,

all alone,

down down down.

Dark,

Dead,

Done.

I lay,

Bloody water,

bloody soul,

alone.

Alone alone alone.

Eyes.

Vengeful.

Hateful.

Sad...

My crimes,

I must tell,

Have caused this. 

Their pain...

My own.

It all comes round.

I see it leave,

but it stalks me from behind.

Jumps.

Takes me down the well,

where the eyes stare down.

Down down down.

Down down down,

to where my body

haunts the calls.

This just spilled out. I apologize for any grammar mistakes and all, but once I start, I can't stop, and I refuse to look back.

Darkness!!

It took the reader to a journey into a dark damp well where only darkness prevails... The whole poem speaks a melancholic, sad tone... It always moves with an intensity... Such a lovely write and you did perfectly fine to write these words down on your pages...
