Because they way I see things

aren't as beautiful as you use to recall 

them. 

Everything I did seem to amaze you

and now I am blank.

Plain

and simple. 

These feelings are not as lovely

as they once were.

Our love has faded 

for there is no more.

Either to receive 

or to give.

Great write, I'm pretty sure most people have experienced that chance run-in, with an old flame; it certainly brought up some memories I had locked away. Only thing I would like to point out is in the first line, I believe you meant "the" instead of "they". Other than that, great read.
