Essence

Essence

A Poem by Tangie

Essence

... feel me.. my presence... do you quiver, does your stomach tighten your heart race? I make you nervous. Do I make you sweat... the tips of our fingers touch... a jolt of electric shoots through my body.... before I can even ask, you feel it too. The hairs on my neck flare... I close my eyes.. *breathe* I feel you I yearn for you.. *stomach* “tightens”.. I feel my body staring to shake.. my heart races.. I cup your face so lightly your lips so close to mine.. Kiss me Touch me.. caress my body hold me I want to say.. but you know what my soul needs. I whisper your name so faintly.. you kiss me so softly no sound comes from me my soul calls out to you.. do you yearn for me? Your soul? Does it call out to me? Yess.. I hear you you I feel you.. *breathe* I open my eyes I look down tips of our fingers touching... Essence
