I rise

I rise above everything that's ever happened to me, 

like when the birds learn how to fly high above the trees

I rise above everything that's ever happened to me in my pass 

But I remember those many nights my hearts shattered like glass

I rise above those doubts those many many doubts

But I remember those times those doubts made me feel down and out

I remember crying myself to sleep almost every night

I rise above those tears and made things right

I rise above my failures and my fears 

Just like when people learn to turn away from there pressuring peers

I rise above all that hate and I learned to forgive because life goes on and we all learn how to live

I rise above everything that has ever happened to me because life keeps going on and I am in control of how I want 

My life to be.....

its like telling yourself this is what i want to be, better than the things that has hurt me, lots of optimism..we all live with certain fears and when we rise above them..we realize we are stronger than those things of past and the people who have constantly troubling us.. well written Tangie..:)
