Standing on the otherside
of a broken mirror
I touch my fingers
to the shattered glass
Your reflection stares back at me
and I let my hand linger
before I pull it away again

I'm crying,
I realize as I back away
and I can hear you call my name

It feels as if
the weight of the world
rests on my shoulders
as my heart
races against the speed of the night
