I Hope You're Satisfied

I Hope You're Satisfied

A Poem by Sarah Hale

You left here
With nothin’ to lose
Told me you were leavin’
You had something to prove.

Now that you’ve remembered
Just what I mean to you
You expect me to forget
All the pain you put me through

And I hope you got your glory
And I pray you found your fame
But how can you come back here
And expect things not to change?

So you’ve finally figured out
There’s more to life than this
And this time you can’t change things
With just one simple kiss

And just when you’ve remembered
Just what I mean to you
You expect me to forgive
All the hell you’ve dragged me through

Yeah I hope you got your glory
And I know you found your fame
But baby my hearts broken
And we both know you’re to blame.
