I'm the shadow on a sunny day,

the child lost in the rain.

I'm the dim and hopeless candle,

barely shining through the pain.

 

I am the solider,

Who almost made it home

I am the sorrow,the pain

of the accident prone.

 

I'm the whisper in the wind,

when no one else is listening.

I'm the loud and distant thunder

that leaves the rain drops glistening.
