Your sunshine

Your sunshine

A Poem by Sarah Hale

It's raining outside

but it makes me smile

because I know

you'll have to stay for awhile

We'll eat cookies and Ice cream

and snuggle on the couch

we'll watch T.V. too.

and even though it's cold outside

I feel the warmth of you

and even through the darkness

your sunshine still shines through..

Aww...that's so sweet! I love the image you created of the speaker being with that person. Great poem, although there are some minor grammatical errors. On the first stanza, there should be a comma after the first line and on the second stanza, there should be a period or a semi-colon on the second line. Sorry if I'm picking on your piece, but I just want to help. :-)

Sweet, rings of a kind of innocence. Nice.
