I Dosen't Matter

I Dosen't Matter

A Poem by Sarah Hale
"

eh! My teacher made me write this in like sixth grade... so read it at your own risk!

"

It dosen't matter

what I do

There won't ever be

anyone like you

I reach for you when the world seems dark

Only to find that you're no longer there

I cry in the night that

You're not being fair!

Is all of this because

I told you how I felt?

Because I said that your smile

always made me melt?

It dosen't matter

what I do

There won't ever be

anyone like you

One day you'll need me

but I don't know who'll be there

Maybe it might be me

If I haven't moved on and if I still care

It dosen't matter

to me anymore

I'm tired of leaving my heart wide open

like an unhinged door

It dosen't matter

What I do

No one can hurt me anymore

not even you
