it's too quiet
it's too loud
musics blaring in my mind
such things happen all the time
i dream of him i think of you
things get hard when you put them in twos
couples walk by happy and sad
somehow it seems like so long ago
when i realized just how lucky i was to know
that you were the only one
together yet apart
you're still in my heart
it's too quiet

i fall asleep without a sound
