Alone

I'm surrounded by people yet i feel so alone
the voices around me say i'm not on my own

The  darkness i love so the rose that i fear
the whisper of terror that screams in my ear
the heart felt dicision of being alone
the silence that haunts me the only sounds are my own

My foot steps that echo through the peacefull still
the thought crosses my mind, if only looks could kill.
I stare in wide wonder at the light i have found
the light that was there though the darkness surrounds

I long to pick it up to call it my own
instead i keep on walking the darkness is my home

and though the light beckons me and calls my name so sweetly
i silently ignore it though my heart is beating weakly
i have to find so help the lights my only choice
instead i sit here sleeping listening to the soft sweet voice

i close my eyes and dream of a world better than most and equal to none.
