Dad

Dad

A Poem by Sarah Dawn
"

Nothing can touch a fathers love

"
When you leave
And go looking for yourself
It can feel exciting
The feeling of knowing you've left the ordinary behind
To find something that makes you feel
is gratifying that you're trying
Some people don't know how you can give it all up, without a plan
I don't know how you can stay, as you are, without seeing
There's times the rush can stall,
You hit a void
Feel an emptiness and a want for something solid. Something true
And those are the times I think of you.
I miss you dad
