Cold

Cold

A Poem by Sarah

And ever so swiftly
Her innocence was taken from her
Her heart became hardened and unresponsive
She hungered for that innocence but could never seem to gain it back
She was a statue in a graveyard
Beautiful but unable to love

This is a really gripping you have here, Sarah. Everybody loses their innocence, rather it would be virginity, their youth, their love, their pride. But sometimes losing that innocence can be hard. Anyway, this was a very clever write. Can't wait to read some more from you.

I like the analogy of the statue ( : O ) Maybe the statue can't love but it can be loved... something to remember
