Memories Lost

This is also from fifth grade. It was an assignment after we read a story about someone who had Alzheimer's.

Remember the times we had together?
Eating at picnics?
Making shell necklaces?
Even when you were sick you had fun with
Me. You let me know that I could
Belong to you.
Every time I visited you helped me with something like
Roller blading

Or swimming. We both loved dogs. You said even an
Ugly one is cute.
Remember all these? The times that we shared?

Me and you. You and me.
Every where we went there was a
Memory to be had. But,
Our time was limited. It's like you
Ran away!
I miss you so much!
Every thing is lost!
So are you! Please come back!
