The Stars I Can't Reach

 

 

Here I am,

Sailing amidst the stars

Awe-struck.

-

I lean over the railings,

try to touch the sparkling lights.

They taunt me.

-

Perhaps a little closer,

a desire burns within me.

I can't resist.

-

I leap,

and now I'm falling;

lost in your eyes.
