Glimmer Shimmer Show Off

Glimmer Shimmer Show Off

A Poem by Sarah McKeever Hitt

Is it fiction or is it fact

glimmer shimmer show off?

Crowds may applaud,but not me

my cheap seat attitude stays honest

when the masses leave their seats.

How is it you stand so still

amongst the thrilling chaotic majesty?

Tactful tacky and oh so unrefined ,

shines your face in the lights.

Hopefully your fall from grace is uncanny

to the down pillows you sleep on tonight.

A shame it would be to spoil your makeup

even with nobody there to see.

A amazing poem. I like the feel of this poem. Opening lines brought me in. The story got better with each line. A straight to the point poem. I like it. A excellent poem.
