Need of love

Need of love

A Poem by Sarah King

Poor girl.
 Set the candles on
Turn on the light in the blind hearts....

 Poor baby.
Start crying hard
Make all these blind hearts melt......

Dear God.
We do not need food
We do not need shoes
We are in need of love
We are sinking in the blindness of hearts....

 Last night
A girl died....
 Last night
A mom cried
Not having enough food,
To let her child survive.....

Dear God,
We do not need money
We do not need cars
We are in need of humanity
We are in need of love...

Powerful words led to true ending and wish.

Love is the easiest gift we can share and rarely we can share. Which is sad. Thank you Sarah for sharing the amazing poetry.

Thank you.
Beautiful poem with a strong message. And the best thing is that the love we need is for humanity and not our personal interests. I love it.

Thanks honey.
Beautiful poem about how we need love and how it leads us to abundance of kindness and discovery what it can do for another. Through your poem you are asking God why these bad things upon depressed souls in difficulties and pits of pain. To answer love and if we accept love and give it out freely, somewhere in miles of soul searching you find love is always there and most powerful force to the face of the earth. For me running across your poetry is like finding intricate underground city and meticulously brushing the dust off its elaborate mosaic walls. So keep writing and the messages you include needs to reach the whole world. I think everyone should write poetry it enlightens the soul and leaves a forever trace to your existence. Poetry brings freedom and returns from life. Sincerely your friend Andrew Stewart

We wil find love if we start loving each other. Thanks for your comment
It is the Love which would have been the intent behind developing life. Life without love is like a body without soul. Your poem is a tribute to love and to those innocent people to whom love is a strange universe. as they say, let the love be a guiding law. Beautiful.

Overly sentimental... I feel like I want to club a baby seal and steal money from the homeless to balance out the pure cheese of that hippy hallmark emotional abortion I just read.

"We are in need of love"

Okay, your poem has the questions but if fails to define it's answer making it virtual emo liberal greeting card trash. Define what you call love and you may have something. As it stands, the words on the back of any cereal box have slightly more substance then that thing you wrote.

Below average.
