Treatment: I Have Something To Tell You...

A Story by SarahFC
"

A young girl must come out to the most important person in her life. The person that is closest to her heart, the person who knows her better than anyone else...herself.

"
Inside a cradle we see two baby girls who look very much alike,
sleeping inside a cradle. The two girls are at opposite sides of
the cradle, but they are holding hands as they sleep. The two
girls are named Anne and Annie. When their eyes open, they smile
at one another. Anne thinks to herself that she remembers how
they were born together and how they would always knew that they
would be inseparable and grow up together.

On the playground, Annie and Anne are ten years old and playing on
the monkey bars. Thew two girls look very similar, except Anne has
blue eyes and Annie has brown eyes. Anne is trying to get across
when she falls and scrapes her knee. Annie rushes to help Anne
and tries to clean the wound and put a plaster on the knee. Anne
is weeping whilst Annie gives her a comforting smile, and tries to
dry her eyes with a tissue.

In the school hallway, Annie and Anne are twelve years old, Anne
is admiring a boy from afar. Annie notices that Anne keeps
blushing and starting at the floor, Annie pushes Anne to go talk
to the boy. Annie smiles proudly as she watches Anne try to talk
to the boy.

In class, Anne is looking through a magazine when she notices one
of the models is particularly attractive. The model in the
picture is smiling and wearing a bikini in the picture. Annie
takes the seat next to Anne in class and Anne quickly tries to put
the magazine away. Annie snatches the magazine away from Anne and
looks through the pages. Annie herself looks through the pages and
remarks how she wished she could look like that in a bikini.
In the library, Annie looks over and notices a group gossiping
about Anne. Anne notices them as well and Annie tries to comfort
her, saying that they are just immature. A pretty girl takes a
seat in front of them, Anne feels shy while Annie feels more calm,
but doesn’t understand why Annie feels shy and flustered.

In Anne’s living room, the two girls are watching a film when
there is an attractive girl on the screen. Annie remarks that the
girl has a nice body, and then says shortly afterwards that she
wished she looked like that. Anne just quietly nods in agreement
in response. A good looking guy appears on the screen and the two
girls are both excited. Anne is more quiet when their excitement
subsides.

Whilst walking down the street, the two girls are innocently eating
ice cream together. Annie suddenly pipes up and asks “Could you
imagine what your life would be like if you were bi?”. Anne is caught off guard by the question, but then Annie just brushes the thought away saying “never mind it’s a weird thought, I’m just wondering”.

In the hallway, Annie is watching from afar as Anne talks to her
boyfriend. They begin to walk away together and Anne reaches out
to take Annie’s hand. Anne’s boyfriend smiles down at Anne as they
walk together. Anne smiles back but looks at the floor and bites
her lip. Annie raises an eyebrow, noticing that something is
wrong.

Inside Anne’s bedroom, Anne is laying down on her bed when Annie
enters the room. Annie thinks there is something that Anne isn’t
telling her and she demands to know what it is. Anne tries to
tell her that there is nothing to tell, but Annie is tired of Anne
lying to her about things. Annie tells Anne that she should just
tell her what she is keeping from her. Anne argues saying that
Annie wouldn’t understand, but Annie continues to demand that Anne
tell her what she is hiding. She tells them that they have been
together since they were children and that Anne can tell Annie
anything. Anne takes a deep breath and asks Annie to remember that
time she asked her what her life would be like if she were
bisexual? Annie nods as she looks worried, Anne takes a deep
breath and seizes the opportunity to come out to Annie. There is
a long pause afterwards and Anne worries that Annie will reject
her. Annie simply smiles and says that it wasn’t so hard, as she
pats Annie on the back.

Anne is meeting her boyfriend on the school rooftop. Anne’s
boyfriend arrives, Anne is shown to have two tone eyes to show
that she is finally one with Annie. She thinks to herself that
Annie was a part of herself, and she was a part of her. For that
reason the two were inseparable, but Anne’s name would never
change and everyone would know her by that name. Anne tells her
boyfriend that she has something to tell him, Anne tells him that
she is bisexual and tells him her fears about him rejecting her as
she cares for him. Anne’s boyfriend wordlessly pulls her in for a
hug, and over his shoulder, Anne sees Annie smiling proudly at
her.
