Tempest

Tempest

A Poem by Sarah Carswell

My life was like a hurricane
Blowing me around it seemed
I never knew up from down
Thinking I was on my own
Then from the dark you came
Like a searchlight meant just for me
Thought I'd be lost for good
Then suddenly there you stood
Saving me
Pulling me
Into the light I never knew
Waking me
Breathing life
Into my dark and lonely soul

This poem is so deep, it is lovely to read but also makes you imagine what's going on
''Thinking I was on my own''
It's true, most of us think that we are on our own
Incredible poem!
