The Golden Rule

A Poem by SarahTutun

Just a poem about treating people with integrity, decency, and respect.

"

The Golden Rule

By: Sarah  Tutun

Please keep all your judgements and opinions to yourself

If you see they’re not nice

Please just take them

Somewhere else.

Didn’t your mama tell you?

Tell you bout

The golden rule?

Only do to others

What you want then

Done to you.

I guess you might have missed it

Might have missed the things she said

Or maybe chose to ignore And put it

All on me

Instead.

But this very rule is simple and

I wish that you could see

I will treat you nicely

And hope

You’ll do the same

For me.
