A lonely boat on the dark waves
Back and forth capsize away Hypnotized by your icy depths Haunted by ill angels breaths, Sickly falling into deeper slumber, To the lullaby of snapping lumber, Sinking into the chilling bed, Giving in to the looming dread, There is a cry out in the distance, Of a shaken voice over persistent Awakens the cold December sleep, If only a moment, if only to weep, But the lullaby sings on heavy eyelids once more, And alas, we are miles from shore, The water fills in like a blanket around, What a beautiful night to drown © 2025 LazerRays |
