The Warped SongA Poem by LazerRays
It's not the money, or the fame,
Or the taste of my own name, I'm not a hypocrite, but I am, And the warped song? It damns The song is warping into my mind, Making my smile seem darker and kind, Backwards mumbling of a singer slayed, The slurred speech of disturbance played,
I'm in love with power and manipulating, You think I can't- You're underestimating, When I look in the mirror I see nothing but cold, Can you sell to yourself your own soul?
This warped song is my reality now, And to get rid of it... I don't know how, Twisting and burrowing into my brain, It's true to that- I'm going insane
