Dear Ex Nightmare

Title says all.

Dear ex nightmare,

 Remember when you looked into my eyes? 

They were once full of innocence but now they're filled with despise,

 cause you tainted something so precious- so fragile, 

and you crushed that rose- you crushed my will, 

now this face is still haunted by your sins,

 and even today my life is based upon your wins, 

 Yeah dear ex nightmare it's all because of you, 

that I'm scared of the dark now and the stalkers too, 

yeah you broke me, choked me inside until I was silent,

 yeah you cut me, put me inside this solitary confinement, 

 Tears on my face; I lie awake at night,

 because I'm in this place where I can't deal with this fight, 

ya, it's your fault I locked myself inside,

 I never say anything unless I'm saying goodbye,  

How could you betray me? I was your own blood! 

How could you break my innocence? It was only a bud! 

Why? Why? Why?

 Didn't you know how I cried? 

 But now things are different- I have this upper hand,  

the words from your lips I don't hear; I seriously can't! 

 Maybe I'm broken- but I'm broken like glass, 

shattered tearing pieces that cuts this upper class,

 yeah dear ex nightmare- I can't live with you anymore, 

I'm tired of the replays, visions, and all for,

 You.

 You you you.

 But I'm sick and tired of you. 

Dear ex nightmare-

 I don't f*****g care!

Sometimes its those who are close to us ..who leave us with scars for life...
It does take a lot of will power and many good friends to heal those pain...the scars will always remain as a memory of the sufferings...
But life will always throw challenges at us...it's only we who can decide to smile and walk ahead....instead of trying to let it drag us down everytime the memory strikes...

There is agony , pain , despair seen in this poem.. The poetess seems to have had a tragic past and the poem is very heart touching! What i loved about the poem is that there is no sense of negativity in the lines that you penned.. An excellent piece indeed...
