I don't want you back.
Our story is over
And I'm starting a new book.
You will never be in it.
You will never even read it!
I'm over us and I'm over you,
But still I see your face in the pages
Of my mind...
Why?
I know it's 'cause I'm just lonely,
Not just lonely but depressed too,
And you were always there
So when I feel this way,
I think, automatically, of you.
I can still see your eyes,
Still shining as bright as ever,
But I'm sure you've forgotten mine.
That's alright.
I don't want you to remember me.
If you continue to think of me
You'll only feel guilty...
Then again...
No.
I will make you remember me,
Make sure you don't forget.
I'll write this new book,
Continue this next chapter,
And leave you stuck reading
Our first page

You don't deserve to move on
