I have a friend

 

Who doesn’t care what I do

 

They don’t think I’m dumb

They listen with their ever sharpness

They never talk back or tell me how silly I am

They only hurt me sometimes, but it is helpful

 

Their name is Diamond Edge

They leave little red lines on my arm

 

Because they listen when no one else does

It's like...a love hate relationship type thing right? "Who doesn't care what I do" and "Because they listen when no one else does" contradict eachother. I would highly suggest another look at this. This poem has astronomical potential. It's a good poem, of course, but with some tweaking and editing this could become a great poem.

Honestley, not what I expected from you, and unlike most of the poetry of this ilk, well written and funny. Shocking, but also funny. A great read, that I had to go over a few times, partly due to the font, which works perfectly with the subject matter, but also because of the surprise that I was reading a quality work on the subject.
Yep. I'm avoiding saying what the subject is. Let people read it themselves and decided.
