Seasons

Seasons

A Poem by Sarah Hobbit

You can liken life to the season of the year.

You start with Spring

 the time to grow

And then you go to Summer

 the bright time,

but you can have some rain to make you stronger

And then you have Autumn

you still have the sunny times

 but it's getting colder

And then comes Winter

beautiful but cold time in life

 the end of life

A very simple, straightforward piece, well structured and well delivered. Not a word wasted, nor out of place. It flows.

Very beautifully written poem on the 4 stages/seasons of life. All life on this planet has the same cycles. This is a awesome poem!

Your words are true. I'm 1/2 Ojibwa. We believe in all things in four. Four seasons. Four directions. The four people of this world. The logic is true in the poem. Life is a circle where you must touch all the corners of pleasure and pain. Thank you for the amazing poem.
