adding to If I Die YoungA Poem by Sarah W. French
If I die young, bury me in satin
And remember my life Lay me down on a, bed of roses with a book in my hand Sink me in the river, at dawn A favorite place to be Send me away with the words of a love song And read my final poetry ... And I'll be wearing white, when I come into your kingdom laughing all the while I'm as green as the ring on my little cold finger, And ready to begin anew I've never known the lovin' of a man And I guess I never will But it sure felt nice when he was holdin' my hand, Could it have been twu wuv? There's a boy here in town, says he'll love me forever, I guess thats not enough Who would have thought forever could be severed by A darkened heart and the sharp knife of a short life, well, I never would have thought I've had just enough time To learn about love © 2012 Sarah W.
