Face

Face

A Poem by Sarah W. French

Look at my
face and tell me
what you see.
Eyes that won't look
at you out of fear.
Cheeks glowing red,
can't hide my shame.
Lips cracking with every
word, forcing words out.
Rivers of salt
to deep to hide.
My glasses try to
cover my lies.
Look at my face
and  tell me what
you see...
