So YoungA Poem by Sarah W. FrenchThis is about a friend i had who died of leukemia.
Just a child
14 years or so can’t believe your gone a spirit on my soul i was just a young thing the moment i heard and with that second my innocent nature condemned A girl following god you suffered for so long a reader, a writer something we now share i wish i could have known how the past would change me for now i know death follows me everywhere You walked up to the light and and waved good bye to us your purpose had been served and an angel you turned I sit here and wonder am i the only one to lose my faith in HIM when someone dear was lost Sick for so long yet still so strong you cared for everyone the weak and the scarred If you could talk to me now what would you say would you even care to stay now that I’ve grown up A girl who walked into heaven who never learned to drive who never got to show the world That she had a creative mind Years may have pasted and time my go on but that never seems to mean that what you did is gone © 2012 Sarah W.
