You and Him

You and Him

A Poem by Sarah W. French
"

...

"
You watch as he mocks
my very being.
He calls me dyke,
you call me freak.
And here I thought
we were friends.
You call me hobbit,
he says I can't fight.
I just pick and
choose.
I shouldn't have
to go against him.
Shouldn't have to
stand up to a
grown man.
"Your face is
as cute as my a*s."
What kind of
adult are you?
What sort of
life do you live?
I am so
f*****g
sick of fearing.
Fearing him, the
car, and you.
I shouldn't have
to cower because
of a friend and
her uncle...
...should I?
