My cheeks became free
only to bind my tongue. Can't utter a fast word everything comes out slow. My lips have been cracked to sharp edges. But at least my teeth are perfect. My smile is something the Joker made. But the teeth are alined with precision. They say I'm beautiful. They say I'll light up a room. But my tongue is still a prisoner. I can't say the shouts I've held for four years... © 2012 Sarah W.
