The Blind WitchA Poem by Sarah W. French...
I am the monster,
the child snatcher. I snack on babies and feast on kids. Each bite gives me strength and clarity. Each attempt to take a life is a reminder of what I am. It is a reminder of what my Mother made. I need to feed, it brought us close. It was the only time she ever loved me. She fed me my step father and I took his dear child. My Mother only loved me when I became her. I am the monster, the child snatcher. I don't want to die, to be burnt to a crisp. But maybe it's what i deserve. Maybe it would be better if I was turned to dust. © 2012 Sarah W. FrenchAuthor's Note
