Sweet Stories

He told me
sweet stories.
This beggar gave
me a
way to save
my son.

I took the
dagger, plunged
it deep.
His face was
the beggar
again.

The curse
took hold.
Magic and power
became my life.
My poor boy
tried to help.

Little Bae
found a way.
He made a deal
to take us
away.

But I am
a coward.
I let him
fall away
into a world
unknown.

I have lived
thousands
of lives.
And still
I search for
him.

Baelfire,
my boy, I
will find you.
Even curse
our world
to get you.

You are
the reason
I live.
And I won't
die till
I have you
back.
