What am I?

What am I?

A Poem by Sarah W. French
"

...

"
I'm not depressed,
sad,
completely bullied.
I'm not a number,
a child,
an orphan.
I'm not weak,
shy,
a shell of a forgotten me.
I am proud,
meek,
but will speak up.
I am a person,
a teen,
with two loving parents.
I am quiet,
practically a mouse,
a firework ready to blow.
What you see me as and what I am
are two completely different things.
And yet the cross paths
far to often.
