WordsA Poem by Sarah W. French...
Your words cut like knives
through paper thin skin. The looks you shove at me hurt my very soul. I can't trust myself anymore because everyone hurts. When I found your shoulder you moved away. I can't cut or beat my bones to submission. I won't try to take the breath from you. But I'm sick and tired of all this s**t. As I walk down the hallway you snicker and sneer. As I open the door to my home yelling is near. I shake, trying to hold my world together. But your words cut deeper then a dagger. The looks shatter my eyes. I know I'm not perfect but you can't change that. I can't even change that so why should we even try? © 2012 Sarah W. FrenchFeatured Review
