Learning the actions of love

Learning the actions of love

A Poem by Saraplenty

Scratching surfaces
to remove
expectations.

Set in place
for holding
(in)securities
and fears.

That keep you
from swimming
those thousand miles
always meant
for me to walk.

While you turn out
ten to fifteen
of easy brilliance.

And I learn
the fine art
of creating the simple.

Ways of you
ways of me
and the act of
learning one's very extremes.

For the hard of it
that never becomes easy
but does ease
us into
the joyful, resting, peace.

And the knowledge
that you were always
my home.

About
I am awesome. And sometimes, I vomit things on to paper to aid in breathing. I write for me, to release what it is I am feeling at that moment, and because I like turning those feelings into so.. more..
