Going unheardA Poem by Saraplenty
Beneath dirt filled lungs
with parched lips, she pushed out this... whispered plea: "When you remember to please remind me of all the reasons... because my heart has a way of forgetting, when your mouth is silent and your words few. Causing the quiet to scream away my flesh." But her weakend breath went unheard. Lost in translation of the heart versus head communication, leaving her "2 am lovesick" and in need. © 2011 Saraplenty |
