No Longer Silenced

Our lives are filled with misery
For the abuse and hurt we can't take,
Fear taking over and silencing us
And in our eyes we know the lives that are fake.

 

We fight we cry we scream
For mercy,
For the pain will one day kill us all
Twisting our emotions to become violent and angry.

 

We fight back
We try to stay alive,
We become monsters
Just so we can survive.

 

When one stands
Then we all will,
Our freedom in our hands
And our lives no longer stand painfully still.

 

We use our voices to tell the world
Just how horrible life can be,
And those who never believed us
Knowing what torture really is to you and me.

 

We are no longer silenced
We are no longer bound by pain,
We are no longer controlled
And we will be free once again.
