Engulf me-
But don’t get too close
Caress me-
But don’t touch me
Know me-
But don’t find me out
Love me-
But no more than I do,

And I can’t promise that I do

Chase me-
But don’t follow
Write me-
But don’t send
Yearn for me-
But never strain your heart,

I will forever do worse on my own
