Long Forgone

Long Forgone

A Poem by Kaiko
"

About suicide

"

I live to sing

I sing to live

I ignored the sting

my cancerous throat did give

I didn't know

I was ill

My pain began to grow

but I sang still

We saw my doctor friend

he told the news

"surgery will put the tumor to its end"

but didn't tell why i might refuse

The tumor got to the point

where surgery couldn't save my voice

To others, surgery didn't disappoint

I now wished for the other choice

My life song.

If no one would sing it,

it wouldn't last long

Twas time for me to quit

All I wanted

was taken away

so I decided

not to stay

Some say I took my life

but it was already gone

my body just taken by a knife

but my life was long forgone

About
Hi. I love to write, but not as much as other parts of my life.(That's why I don't often log on anymore) When I write, it's like living a different life, where I can be a total different person, so I.. more..
