My Singing Woes

My Singing Woes

A Poem by Kaiko
"

Based on a manga(the picture). I wanted to make a song of it, but it didn't work out.

"

We were perfect together

Meant to be

Though it happened never

You loved me

why'd you leave me?

why'd you go?

from there can you see

my singing woes?

I loved you too

Never had the chance to tell

My love so true

Before into the sea you fell

why'd you leave me?

why'd you go?

from there can you see

my singing woes?

Now i'm left alone

And you move farther away

With wings of death you had flown

To heaven that fateful day

I have a fear that i shall lose you

But i stay here

Keeping my promise to you

why'd you leave me?

why'd you go?

from there can you see

My Singing Woes?

why'd you leave me?

why'd you go?

from there can you see

my singing woes?

In some lines I wrote this is some weird way I learned in English class. I believe it's called reverse word, and after we read Romeo and Juliet, I wanted to check it out.

Inverse syntax is the term I believe you are referring to. It's commonly used in Shakey's work and many works of that time.

It's good.

This was a challanging read. I love a writer who is not vague but makes me think. I enjoyed reading this and actually read is several times. I definately liked it. Thanks for sharing. Barb

About
Hi. I love to write, but not as much as other parts of my life.(That's why I don't often log on anymore) When I write, it's like living a different life, where I can be a total different person, so I.. more..
