Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde

for a project at school

 

The game has begun

Take the elixir

The heart-breaker

It will crush your mind and frame,

Your structure and your soul

The monster will reveal

The elixir will define

A new self

And free, it will become

The true self

Waiting for release

It has been weakened

But practice makes perfect

And in due time,

It will reign over the other

For despite its confession,

Sin is the stronger alternative

How true though, that sin is indeed the stronger alternative. Our old man, as it were. Unfortunately, everyone of us has the capacity to be Mr. Hyde, elixir or no. I like it. Very interesting.
