Waiting Thoughts

Waiting Thoughts

A Poem by SaraHelena

Why are you sitting here?

Your waiting for him aren’t you?

Poised over the phone like an anteater over an anthill.

And what will you do when the phone rings?

You’ll eat up every word that floats through your ears.

But is he worth it?

Why are you sitting here?

Poised over the phone like an anteater over an anthill. LOL
I can picture that. Nice metaphor, the message is loud and clear, don't sit there and dwell over him get up and go back to living.

Good advice and an excellent write.
