A Poem by SaraHelena

With one arm up and one arm down,

So begins to set the sun.

Outside the air is getting cold,

Crows land upon wires by the ton,

And people are on their way home because the working day is done.

With one arm up and one arm down,

The dinner is prepared.

The news comes on and then I find,

The dogs need to be fed,

And wearily I start my homework, only a few more hours till bed!

2nd place!! 2nd PLACE?! What were those losers thinking of!! Anyway, I just think that this was a really really great poem. You let us know right up front what time it was and then just ran with it!

Homework!? Wow, this one must be really old. lol. I think the imagery in this one is really something fantastic, I think you paint a lovely picture of sunset quite nicely.
