Passion

Passion

A Poem by SaraHelena

Scorching heat,

Flames they leap,

Touch the sky with wisps of flame and hot pink.

Electric spark.

The deep roll of sweet safe thunder and the electric spark rockets again.

Razor sharp.

Sharper than the finest blade could ever be.

Sliding through.

The thunder rolls,

The sparks rocket through and burn with a tantalizing fire.

Scorching my very being.

Numbness.

Can't think but I feel safe while I’m flying miles above the ground.

I know this feeling. I have felt it before in many ways,

But never THIS strong,

Never in THIS way.

Yes, you know the feeling.

You have felt it too.

Even if you haven't you can trust me,

YOU WILL!

Wow. Intimacy as shamanic journey.

You leave razor-clear tracings of the erotonaut's journey.

And there's such a force of nature naturalness, the poet could be reporting a forest fire from above.

Passion is most engaging when it is thoroughgoing, encompassing mind, body, soul.

There are many vistas and subtle energy shifts, riding passion. Your fine poem gives a wide range of meaning to primal energy, intensity.

Breathing hard, mouth watering, the reader
listens to the unspoken bursting sound of rapture.
Again and again, the sound of heat crackling, spurting
from the flame of internal crashing thunder.
A crescendo of emotion, surging, spurting sound erupting
volcanic explosion of being ---- then quiet, repose, languishing
breath. Passion spent, emotion has boiled over and gone.
Beautiful !
My favorite.
