Rejection

Rejection

A Poem by SaraHelena

The rain fell...

And she stood in the rain.

She would not move but remained firm.

The storm beat down on her,

It whipped at her face,

And her tears flowed like blood from a gaping wound,

But the rain did not notice her tears and continued to beat down on her,

Never stopping,

Just throbbing with the same resentment it had always had.

Well, you definitely have a flare for conveying emotion.

"And her tears flowed like blood from a gaping wound," - this is my favorite line of this poem, it's seems to embody the emotion in this one by itself. Good job.
